I am a sports fan. My dad was a sports fan and being an only child he taught me about baseball, football and basketball. I taught myself about hockey. Growing up my favorite sport was baseball and favorite team was of course the Pittsburgh Pirates. Unfortunately baseball for the past 20 years has fallen on hard times and we have had losing seasons. Fortunately the past 2 years have been better but this year has been fantastic we are in line to have a winning season and possibly a World Series.
No matter the team, PNC park has always been a beautiful park. You can take a family and have a great day. The food and drink are also good. The view of Pittsburgh from the park is great
You can ride the bus, T (a light rail system), ride a boat or park at the stadium. If you park downtown you can actually walk across that bridge.
This is the view of the field from the highest level
I went this weekend and unfortunately we lost but the park was a sellout and all enjoyed a beautiful summer night. If you are ever in Pittsburgh in the summer mark PNC park as a must see site . You will not be sorry.
Go Reds! 🙂 Would be great if it was a playoff between the Reds and Pirates to see who goes to the World Series.
I don’t know because St. Louis keeps hanging around and the Reds didn’t help themselves. Would love to get playoff tickets and maybe you can come and see the baseball park for yourself.
I’m not a sports fan at all, but my mother is. At age 86, she still watches all the baseball (Diamondbacks), and football (Cardinals) games, and you would think she was the team owner by the way she yells at the TV trying to tell the players what they need to do… Great photos of the PNC park. Thanks for sharing.
I can relate to her ! Thanks for sharing and supporting my blog.
If they go the series we will def need to meet up and get to a game!
We will definitely do that
