It has been unseasonably cold here the past few days. It seemed to go from 80 to 30. One thing I do like about fall is the changing color of the leaves. I usually try to go for a walk at lunch and this is how one of the trees looked earlier this week
While I like the colorful season the one thing I don’t like is how early it gets dark. I realized how early it was tonight when I took Kibbles out at 7:30 and the sun had already been set for 30 minutes. Next week we get to change the clocks and we fall back an hour. That is nice as it will be light when I go to work but it also means not much sunlight after work. During these first few weeks of adjustment I always feel like I have to make an effort to stay active after I come home from work.
I will admit I am a spring/summer person. What season do you like best?

Beautiful photo of the tree. I am a spring/summer person too. I do not like to be cold at all! When our kids, that live in Colorado, start sending us pictures of the snow they get every year, I always tell them “Snow is beautiful to look at, delightful to hold, but if your a desert rat (like me) it’s just way too cold.” Great post, thanks for sharing.
P.S. how did your bathroom project turn out?
The bathroom has been at a standstill. It is half done. The handyman I wanted to hire for a plumbing project ended up with some medical issues. I haven’t found another person yet but have someone coming soon to give me an estimate on the plumbing and another project. I hope to have it completed before Thanksgiving. I will hopefully have an update soon. Thanks for your comments
