I usually don’t do anything for Valentine’s Day but this year I had a special date. My date arrived about 6 and we had already decided to spend the evening at home. My date brought me a very special card. I had never received a card from them so I was very impressed.
We started by working some puzzles and found it was something we both enjoyed doing. We went from easy to medium puzzles and even had races in completing them. I was then treated to a concert on a harp. The music may have sounded a little off-key to some but to me it sounded like Beethoven may have been in my living room.
We then had a special dinner of chicken strips and sweet potato fries. The desert was strawberry yogurt, nothing fancy but very tasty.
As you may have guessed by now the date was with my granddaughter. We had a wonderful evening talking, playing games and reading some stories. I don’t have a harp but do have an app that has a harp that she likes playing. I enjoyed my night with her. She is my special Valentine
It sounds wonderful and she’s such a pretty little girl : )
She is growing up so quickly. I love the time we spend together. Thanks for your comment.
And a beautiful, precious Valentine she is for sure. Precious memories to last a lifetime is what you made… Great Post!
This year has been so special watching her develop her own personality and preschool has made her so independent. Thanks for your comment and continued support
