This week has been an extremely difficult one with being down to the flu and bronchitis. Through it all I am reminded that I have many things to be grateful for this week. Laurel from Alphabet Salad has developed a weekly Gratitude List which I have chosen to participate in this week.
My Gratitude List (in no particular order)
- My neighbors Bob and Nikki-they took care of the day-to-day things while I was sick-getting my mail, shoveling the snow, getting food from the store.
- My family for checking in on me – it is always nice to know people care
- My dog Kibbles- she kept me company and her good behavior was exemplary.
- My new bed- to have a great mattress that allowed for comfort sleeping and resting for more hours than I care to count.
- To finally be back on the way to feeling myself.
- For the hours of Olympic coverage-nice to have something interesting to watch while you are awake at 3 in the morning
- A tremendous and understanding boss who had the wisdom to say “stay home” when I wanted to try to come to work on Tuesday. She convinced me on Wednesday and Thursday too!
- For the people who read my blog. I appreciate the time you take to read it as well as offering your support through your comments.
What comprises your Gratitude List today?
Hi Kathy, Oh so much to be grateful for, and now I can add joining the Gratitude Linkup and learning how to add code into my blog to my list 🙂
I am glad that you stopped by my blog. Glad you are joining the link. Thank you for your comment
Love your gratitude list! I’m so sorry you’ve been sick, but appreciate how you’ve been able to look at the good that’s come out of it. Thank you for sharing and for joining in on the Gratitude Linkup! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by. I am glad you started the Gratitude Linkup and will be posting again. Thanks for your comment.
Oh, I’m sorry you’ve been sick. Today has been my day under more covers than I could normally stand.
I love the Gratitude List. Today, I’m grateful for the internet community. I am a big social butterfly, and I live, we are out in the country. It would take a lot of effort and time away from home to be involved in social things around here. Luckily – I get to hob nob and nosh with girlfriends over the internet!!
I hope you feel better soon. Some days we just need to rest. Thanks for stopping by and for you comment.
Our lives, as you know, are on overdrive right now with trying to find out what is going on with our daughter, Shantel… That said, I am grateful for my Catholic faith, knowing that Jesus will see us through….other than that, I’m so thankful for my family, and extended family, and friends who never fail to be there for us… Great post. XoXo
I certainly understand your gratefulness to your faith and Jesus. I know He has seen me through many rough times. Thanks for your support and comments.
Hope that you are still on the mend and what good medicine to make such a list….nice neighbors, loving family and a great boss …truly things to be thankful for! 🙂
I consider myself fortunate and I am feeling better. Thanks for dropping by and your comments
So pleased you’re getting closer to fine. And a new bed? Yay for you! There’s nothing better than snuggling under the covers in a comfy bed, whether sick or not.
I loved your gratitude list. Cheers to continued improvement in your health!
Lisa you are correct about the new bed. Thanks for dropping by and your comment
