Gratitude List 33

“Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.” John Milton

The past week has been a trying week not because of the business of work or home. It was the just the fact that I went to work everyday but was not able to do much else. I came home every day and took a nap then went to bed but felt like I never had any sleep. I had a virus but was not ill enough to take off work. I am grateful I was able to continue to work but sad not much else was accomplished.

My Gratitude List (in no particular order)

  • for great co-workers who helped me make it through this week
  • waking up today feeling better, able to go grocery shopping and not napping during the day
  • Having an extra day to recuperate
  • Being fortunate enough to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and all the sacrifices he and others made
  • Thankful for my wonderful family and the visits this weekend
  • Being able to trade-in my car save a substantial amount of money on car payments and still having a Jeep Cherokee to drive
  • Having nice weather this weekend and being able to see the sun as well as feeling its warmth

What is on your gratitude list this week

  1. So glad to hear your feeling better Kathy. Bill, Shantel and I all had a virus two weeks ago. Bill and I only had two bad days of it but Shantel was sick for well over a week. I had to take her to urgent care where she was given some medications to help her get over it… I’m thankful we are all doing much better now. I’m also thankful that yesterday Bill, Shantel and I all went to see the movie Selma together. It was very moving and a great reminder of the challenges and struggles Martin Luther King and his family, friends, and many others faced and overcame to make life better for future generations. Love you. Thanks for sharing your list.

I am glad you are all doing well too. Everyone at work had this same bug I had. Main symptom was nausea and fatigue. Glad that is over.I want to see Selma and had planned on going today but time got away from me. Thanks for your continued support. Love you

Sorry last week was rough – hopefully this one will be better. Sounds like you got off to a good start, anyway! 🙂
